My favourite shorts from the Summer '13 LOFT collection. I would do a million lunges to make these shorts happen. LOVE!

The sad thing about all of this amazing catering? Fashion people don't typically eat. Or if they do, they don't want to get their clothes dirty and so, they just wait to eat until they get home. #tragic

 

The jewelry and accessory collection was incredibly cute. I especially loved all of the statement necklaces (including these fun fringey ones) and sparkly rhinestone bracelets.

Ann Taylor and LOFT Now Shipping Across Canada

In more amazing-for-those-not-living-in-the-city news, Ann Taylor and LOFT just announced that they now offer shipping to over 100 countries, including our own home and native land. Huzzah! Both companies are offering free shipping on orders over $100 US until March 17th, so now's the time to get on it.

LOFT Mobile Style Closet hits Toronto

To celebrate the first ever Canadian LOFT store opening at Yorkdale later this year, the Mobile Style Closet will be touring the streets of Toronto tomorrow (that's Friday, October 26) to give us a sneak peek at LOFT’s 2012 Holiday Collection full of pretty patterns, bright pops of festive colour and loads of sparkle.  LOFT Chief Style Director, Alia Ahmed-Yahia will be on board to meet and greet Toronto shoppers and one lucky winner has the chance to walk away with the entire contents of the Style Closet (approximately $2,000 value)! Be sure to arrive early - the first 25 guests at each stop will take home a surprise treat. Fun!  Here are all the dets, should you happen to have a little free time tomorrow:

LOFT Comes to Canada

Just announced: LOFT is coming to Canada!  The US retailer will be opening its first international location at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in late 2012, the latest in a slew of chains to open up shop across the border, including Ann Taylor who will open two Toronto stores this fall.

LOFT offers versatile, accessible, and affordable fashion with a decidedly feminine feel, special and unexpected details, and a flattering fit.  “Canada represents a natural step as we move to expand internationally, and we are excited to open our first store outside the U.S. in such a vibrant city like Toronto,” said Gary Muto, Brand President. “LOFT offers women apparel and accessories that have great style, quality and value, and we believe our product fills a void in the market.”
